COP Born Again Worship Centre Celebrates Officers Appreciation Day
The Church of Pentecost – Born Again Worship Centre joyfully marked Officers Appreciation day with a spirit of gratitude and celebration in honor of the dedicated leaders who tirelessly serve the church and its members.
The event, which took place today, was filled with thanksgiving, heartfelt tributes, and moments of reflection on the invaluable role officers play in the growth of the church. From elders, deacons, and deaconesses to ministry leaders, each officer has contributed faithfully to the spiritual, social, and organizational life of the congregation.
Speaking during the celebration, the leadership of the church expressed deep appreciation for the officers’ selfless service, noting that their commitment to prayer, discipleship, visitation, and stewardship has been instrumental in building a vibrant community of faith. Members also shared testimonies, acknowledging the sacrifices made by officers who consistently dedicate their time, energy, and resources to God’s work.
The highlight of the program was a special recognition moment, where officers were honored with words of encouragement and tokens of appreciation. The congregation prayed over them, asking God to strengthen, protect, and bless them abundantly as they continue to serve.
As the church reflected on the Apostle Paul’s exhortation in 1 Thessalonians 5:12–13 — “Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work.” — members were reminded of the biblical call to honor and support those who serve diligently in God’s vineyard.
The COP Born Again Worship Centre remains committed to fostering a culture of appreciation, unity, and service, recognizing that its officers are vital instruments in fulfilling the church’s mission of evangelism, discipleship, and community transformation.
