BAWC WOMEN'S MINISTRY

About The Women's Ministry
( Virtious Ladies )

The Women’s Ministry, which includes all women in the Church, is primarily responsible for interceding for the Church in prayer. Additionally, it provides guidance in household management, as well as employable and vocational skills. The ministry meets on Tuesdays.

Through retreats, seminars, workshops, lectures, and symposia, the Women’s Ministry equips women in various aspects of life, including:

Family Life – Marriage enrichment, domestic responsibilities of wives, child welfare, care, and education.
Business & Career Development – Business management principles and professional skills.
Beyond spiritual growth and personal development, the ministry actively engages in evangelism, counseling, and sponsorship programs to support the underprivileged within the Church and society.

It also extends its services to female orphans, single mothers, spinsters, street children, widows, professional women, politicians, elderly women, businesswomen, and individuals living with disability. Additionally, the ministry participates in media and hospital evangelism, supports government initiatives to reduce poverty, and undertakes other specialized ministries focused on women.

The current leader of the Women’s Ministry at BAWC is Deaconess Sally Asamoah, assisted by Deaconess Mary Sam.
